The presentation round

Administrative Officer boards in 2025 and 2026 opened with an eight-minute presentation, stopped on the clock, then an hour of questions that kept coming back to it: why this topic, what sources, what did you leave out. HEO and AP boards often add one. Deliver yours here, out loud, against the same clock.

A presentation is marked as a piece of communication and influence against your grade, plus six things every board listens for: a clear opening that says where you will land, signposted sections, specific evidence with sources and dates, a word on how you researched it, options weighed rather than described, and a pitch a Principal Officer would accept in a briefing.
